Khanqa has a central importance in the sphere of Tasawaf and it has a far reaching impact upon their adjacent areas. In Mansehra there are two renowned khanqas, which have a deep impact on life and tradition of this area. Among them the most ancient khanqa is Khanqa Naqshbandia Rizwia Faizabad Shrif Batdarria Mansehra. The foundation of this khanqa was taken in the early years of the 20th century and is associated with silsla Naqshbandi. This khanqa is situated near Mansehra city, but its effects are not only found in Mansehra but also throughout Pakistan. Even the khulafas of this khanqa are performing their religious services out of the country.District Mansehra is one of the beautiful districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Like other areas of life, this district is very fertile in terms of religion as well. Thus, many monasteries are performing religious services in Mansehra, but the services of some monasteries are relatively important, in which the role of Khanqah Alia Naqshbandia Rizvia Faizabad Sharif Hit Darian is even more important as this monastery is located nearby the city of Mansehra.
