Abstract

The art of the novel is considered one of the modern literary arts through which the writer can broadcast his ideas and deliver the message he believes for readers. In the present era, it has achieved fame and popularity that the rest of the literary arts have not achieved. It was able to understand human problems and various issues. The element (character) is considered the most important element of the novel, as it is the basic pillar on which the novelist relies in his work along with other novel elements. The subject of character building is an important matter for the novelist Ayman Al-Atoum, as his novels have a great human nature. Al-Atoum has reconciled - in dealing with these characters - between reality and the idea that he wants to convey to the recipient, as he undertakes his fictional characters with a lot of care and attention and breathes them into life so that they do not appear to be artificial artistic characters, but rather it has a real existence in reality.
