Abstract

The article explores the life and religious contributions of Maulana Aziz-ur-Rahman Hazarvi, beginning with his religious education and the construction of Masjid Saddiq-e-Akbar in Joharabad. It details his commitment to permanent religious centers, including the sanctuaries of the Holy Prophet (﷐), and his return to Pakistan. The establishment of Jamia Dar-ul-Uloom Zakariya in Islamabad and his various engagements are discussed. It also examines the adoption of British customs and culture by Indians following the British rule, and the vigorous protests by scholars against this cultural imposition, emphasizing its detrimental impact on the community. The scholars and religious institutions provided guidance at every turn, not only individually but also in social contexts, with particular consideration in political arenas. The issue of the finality of Prophethood is highlighted as a significant unified concern within the Muslim community, reflecting deep emotional sentiments and religious duty among followers. Maulana Aziz-ur-Rahman Hazarvi's pivotal role in the movement regarding the finality of Prophethood and respect for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is underscored, acknowledging his substantial contributions at the conclusion of the article.
